You can reach the city centre:

• By ship on the Bosporus. The travelling time is about 1 hour and is a real pleasure.
• By bus or Dolmuş (shared taxi) and Metro. The trip to Taksim takes about 40 minutes.
  
• By bus along the Bosporus. The travelling time is about 1 hour, depending on the traffic. It is a splendid ride, passing old palaces, wooden villas and picturesque "Bosporus villages". There is a superb view over the water with its fishing boots, tankers and cruise ships along the entire route.

All the connections to the City centre are very easy to use.

Buses travel all night every 30 minutes from Taksim (the central square in the city centre) to Büyükdere. These bus rides take about 30 minutes.
